Denton Vacuum Appoints New Staff Member

Denton Vacuum, LLC, top distributer of production scale thin film technology systems and vacuum metallizing systems, announced on March 24, 2013 that is has appointed a new staff member to its Customer Application Development Center located in Moorestown, NJ.

According to the company press release, the company has hired Dr. Craig A. Outten. Dr. Outten will serve as the company’s Research Development Scientist overseeing the Customer Application Development Center (CADC). He brings to the company over 15 years of experience in senior level management in the semiconductor, optics, and vacuum coating industries. He has specialized experience in PVD and Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition technology. Before coming to Denton Vacuum, Dr. Outten worked at prominent companies such as Intel Corporation.

The CADC is an engineering and manufacturing facility where Denton provides training classes and tools for their products, ranging from optical coating systems to medical implants. According to the press release, the facility also provides services such as “process development, testing and validation of new process characterization tools,” and process demonstrations.
